  54. the characters from the classic story as you hunt down the evil Count
  55. Dracula. Use your wits (as well as holy water, garlic, wooden stakes, etc.)
  56. to destroy the blood-sucking fiend before another innocent victim is
  57. killed. Requires a 386 or better, hard disk, and VGA. This is available
  58. on 3.5" 1.44mb MegaDisk and CD only.

  65. is a strategic game of football for Windows. You can play against the computer
  66. or a friend. The Offense selects one of twelve plays and its outcome is
  67. decided statistically; that is, you have no control over the actual execution
  68. of the plays, just the selection. This is the nicest implementation of this
  69. type of game we've seen, though we prefer the arcade type of football game
  70. (such as Cunning Football, disk #1428 in GA-05) which gives the player more
  71. control.

  78. is an excellent adaptation of the classic arcade game Tempest. For those
  79. of you too young to remember, your firing cursor travels around a
  80. variety of geometric mazes while you try to shoot the bad guys that come
  81. from the center. VBRUN200 is included on this disk.

  88. is a mouse-driven arcade game where you try to steal as many jewels as you can
  89. while avoiding the ever-present guards. Once you steal all the jewels on a
  90. level, a trickier set of guards appears. You start out with nine men, and you
  91. lose a man (or more) each time a guard touches you or you leave the playing
  92. field.

  99. is an incredible 3-D maze game. You must escape multiple levels of twisting
  100. mazes, looking for gems and keys. An automapping function helps you see where
  101. you have been.

  104. much more. 29 mazes are included, ranging from simple to extremely difficult.

  111. is an exciting Windows variation of the old "snake" game. Your job is to slither
  112. around the eight imaginative mazes devouring all the mice and avoiding walls. To
  113. make things more difficult, your tail grows after you eat a mouse and other
  114. surprise obstacles are scattered about.

  121. is based on the cutesy arcade game where you bean helpless prairie dogs with a
  122. hammer as they emerge from their holes. However, in this game you have a
  123. choice of high-powered firearms and get to blast the furry little pests into a
  124. bloody stain.

  126. The impressive 256-color animated graphics and digitized sound effects make
  127. the massacre all the more enjoyable. You can control the number of dogs, and
  128. how many rounds of ammo you get. Watch out for the occasional rabid rodent,
  129. because if you get bitten five times you will die of rabies. <WINDOG.PCX>.

  136. is a fast and fun animated game for Windows. Your runner must go from level
  137. to level turning on control lights and gathering fuel cannisters.
  138. Unfortunately, there is a rather nasty enemy runner looking to throw you to
  139. your death and turn off the control lights.

  141. Along the way you will encounter bouncing colored marbles that both help
  142. and hinder your progress, a wizard that will grant you another life,
  143. teleportation pods, and much more. Other features include a MIDI music
  144. soundtrack, interesting sound effects, and keyboard/mouse/joystick support.

  152. chaos. You are in command of one fleet and one solar system, and up to four
  153. people can play this incredible game of galactic supremacy. You must use
  154. scouts to investigate nearby star systems and decide which ones are worth
  155. colonizing and which are worth fighting for. You can also look at what
  156. opponents are building to determine the size of your attack fleet, and build
  157. transports to move troops and colonists to other star systems.

  159. Although the author refers to this as a "demo" version, it contains more than
  160. enough features to keep any gamer's interest. The graphics and playability are
  161. excellent, and help and strategy hints are always available. 640K and at least
  162. an EGA monitor are required.

  170. You can play against computer-controlled players or a friend connected via
  171. modem/comm port/network. Computer players can be "trained" using artificial
  172. intelligence techniques, and the history of each player is saved for future

  180. is an excellent Windows adaptation of the classic arcade game Lunar
  181. Lander. You must safely land your spacecraft on the treacherous terrain
  182. of several different planets, each with varying amounts of gravity and
  183. special obstacles. You must also successfully dock with an orbiting
  184. craft after your landing, keeping a careful eye or your fuel level and
  185. horizontal/vertical speed.

  192. is a fast paced game of galactic conquest. A player begins an empire
  193. with a single star. Stars are added through colonization and
  194. annexation of stars held by other empires. The game is complete when
  195. there is only one empire left. The number of stars may vary from 50 to
  196. 1500 for short, medium or long games, and have from 2 to 12 players.
